On March 4, 2021, after an extensive criminal investigation, the Village of Perry Police Department arrested Paul Forsyth, no age provided, of Perry, NY, and charged him with sex abuse 3rd, a class B misdemeanor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is alleged that during the winter of 2018, Forsyth engaged in sexual activity with a person between the ages of 16 and 17 years old. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Forsyth was virtually arraigned and remanded to the Wyoming County Jail on $5,000 bail, $10,000 bond or $20,000 partially secured. Forsyth is due to appear in the Wyoming County Court at a later date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On March 5, 2021, the Perry Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a speeding vehicle in the Village of Perry. Upon stopping the vehicle, it was believed that the vehicle operator, 29-year-old Cyle Hindle of Dansville, New York, was operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and was asked to submit to field sobriety testing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After performing poorly on field sobriety tests, Hindle was placed under arrest for driving while intoxicated. A search of the vehicle revealed several open containers of alcoholic beverage. A breath test performed at the Perry Police Department determined Hindle to have a .22% blood alcohol content. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hindle is charged with DWI, aggravated DWI, BAC of .18% or higher, and ticketed for speeding in a zone and open container in a motor vehicle. Hindle was released to a sober third party with a return court date of April 6, 2021 in Perry Village Court to answer the charges.\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
