While speaking with Johnson, Deputy West could detect a moderate odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from the vehicle.<\/p>\n<p>During a subsequent investigation, it was determined that Johnson was intoxicated by alcohol and taken into custody.\u00a0 He was arrested for DWI, driving with .08% or more BAC and speed over 55.<\/p>\n<p>Johnson was issued appearance tickets and is to return to Wethersfield Town Court on October 17, 2017 for further proceedings<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On September 30, 2017, at approximately 6:16p.m., Wyoming County Sheriff\u2019s Deputy West was on routine patrol when he observed a vehicle traveling east on Route 78 in the Town of Wethersfield at 73mph in a 55mph zone.
