Lori A. Adolf, 47, of Akron Rd., Pembroke, is charged with 26 counts of torturing or injuring animals\/failure to provide sustenance and one count of endangering the welfare of a child, after an investigation at 1071 Akron road in the Town of Pembroke on January 22, 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The investigation revealed that there were 13 dogs in cages, covered in feces, urine, underweight, surrounded by garbage and in need of medical treatment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
There were also 10 deceased rabbits and 1 deceased dog located inside of the residence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
13 dogs and 2 cats were removed from the residence and transported to the Genesee County Animal Shelter where they have been receiving care and medical attention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
