o Genesee County<\/strong> reporting 24 new positive cases of COVID-19 for a total of 4782 positive cases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7 West Region (Alabama, Darien, Pembroke)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7 Central Region (Alexander, Batavia, Bethany, Elba, Oakfield)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a7 The individuals are in their 19-20\u2019s, 20\u2019s, 30\u2019s, 40\u2019s, and 50\u2019s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a7 27 of the previous positive individuals have recovered and have been removed from the isolation list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a7 8 of the current positive individuals are hospitalized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

o Orleans County<\/strong> reporting 17 new positive cases of COVID-19 for a total of 2639 positive cases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7 West Region (Yates, Ridgeway, Shelby)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7 Central Region (Carlton, Gaines, Albion, Barre)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7 East Region (Kendall, Murray, Clarendon)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a7 The individuals are in their 0-19\u2019s, 20\u2019s, 30\u2019s, 40\u2019s, 50\u2019s and 60\u2019s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a7 1 of the new positive individuals was on mandatory quarantine prior to testing positive. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a7 10 of the previous positive individuals have recovered and have been removed from the isolation list. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a7 4 of the current positive individuals are hospitalized. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a7 1 of the new positive individuals is an inmate at the Orleans Correctional Facility. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vaccine Update<\/strong>: ALL New Yorkers 16 and over are eligible to get the COVID-19 vaccine. Visit the GO Health Vaccination Page (https:\/\/bit.ly\/GOHealthVaccine<\/a>) to check for upcoming Vaccination Clinics. All of our clinics are targeted for Genesee and Orleans County residents. o As of April 6, 2021 anyone 16 years of age and older are eligible to get the COVID-19 vaccine along with the other priority groups. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pfizer vaccine is recommended for those 16 and older (those under 18 must have a parent \/ guardian present when getting the vaccine, check the NYS-run clinics for Pfizer vaccine: https:\/\/covid19vaccine.health.ny.gov\/). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines are recommended for those 18 and older. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
