Four people were arrested following a one car motor vehicle accident on Silver Lake Road in the Town of Covington on October 12, 2017.<\/p>\n
Jessica L. Sprague was driving a 2013 Ford F150 southbound on Silver Lake Road when she failed to negotiate the intersection with Old State Road.\u00a0 Sprague drove the vehicle off the roadway and down a steep thirty foot embankment where the vehicle collided with the ground and trees.\u00a0 A passenger in Sprague\u2019s vehicle suffered two broken ribs from the accident.<\/p>\n
Sprague performed poorly on standardized field sobriety testing, and\u00a0 was taken into custody for Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs.\u00a0 Sprague was also found to have only a learner\u2019s permit which was suspended.\u00a0 Heroin, hydrocodone, and marihuana were all located at the scene.\u00a0 A NYS certified Drug Recognition Expert from the Wyoming County Sheriff\u2019s Office performed a drug influence evaluation on Sprague and found her to be impaired by multiple drug categories.\u00a0 The vehicle occupants were charged as follows:<\/p>\n
JESSICA L. SPRAGUE, <\/strong>AGE<\/strong> 30,<\/strong> BOLIVAR<\/strong>, <\/strong>NY<\/strong><\/p>\n HOLDEN P. FAULKNER, <\/strong>AGE<\/strong> 29, ALLEGANY, NY<\/strong><\/p>\n ROBERT D. SAUNDERS, <\/strong>AGE<\/strong> 34,<\/strong> BOLIVAR<\/strong>, <\/strong>NY<\/strong><\/p>\n STORMY L. MCENTIRE, Age 25 BELMONT, NY<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Sprague and Faulkner were arraigned in the Town of Covington Court where bail was set for both in the amount of $500.00 cash or $2,500.00 bond.\u00a0 They are scheduled to return to the Town of Covington Court on January 22, 2018 for further proceedings.<\/p>\n Saunders and McEntire were issued appearance tickets and will answer the charges in the Town of Covington Court at a later date.<\/p>\n Assisting the Wyoming County Sheriff\u2019s Office at the scene were the Pavilion Fire Department, Mercy Ambulance, and Ott\u2019s Collision.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Four people were arrested following a one car motor vehicle accident on Silver Lake Road in the Town of Covington on October 12, 2017.
