The Orleans County Sheriff\u2019s Office charged an Orleans County Jail inmate following a \u201cshake down search\u201d and investigation at the Jail on December 20, 2016.<\/p>\n
William J. Tuttle Jr., 36, of Holley N.Y., is charged with promoting prison contraband 2nd after officers allegedly found contraband in his possession.<\/p>\n
Orleans County Undersheriff Christopher M. Bourke reports that Sheriff\u2019s Correction Officers conducted this operation within the jail as part of a continuing effort to maintain a safe and secure facility for both staff members and inmates.<\/p>\n
Along with the excellent work of the Correction Officers, we will continue to use all tools available to us to keep contraband out of our facility.<\/p>\n
Further charges may be filed pending laboratory results of the substances found.<\/p>\n
Tuttle is scheduled to appear in the Town of Albion Court on Jan 18, 2016 at 9:00am.<\/p>\n

On December 15, 2016, the Orleans County Sheriff\u2019s Office charged a woman following an alleged shoplifting incident at the Albion Wal-Mart Super Center.<\/p>\n
Dawn M. Knapp, 52, of Waterport, N.Y., is charged with petit larceny after she allegedly concealed several items in her purse.<\/p>\n
Knapp was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Albion Court on January 18, 2017 at 9:00am<\/p>\n
