The Genesee County Local Drug Task Force, with assistance from the Niagara County Probation Department, arrested Leroy Thornton III, 30, of Ashland Avenue, Niagara Falls, on a Genesee County Indictment Warrant on April 15, 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The arrest concluded an investigation into the transportation, sale and possession of “crack” cocaine in an around the Town of Batavia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thorton is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 3rd degree, with intent to sell and criminal sale of a controlled substance 3rd degree, both class B felonies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He was arraigned in Genesee County Court and released on his own recognizance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
