He was treated at a Rochester area hospital for an upper arm wound which was determined to be non life threatening.<\/p>\n<p>NYS Environmental Conservation Officers and Investigators, who normally investigate hunting accidents also responded to the scene. Through their investigation, it was determined that the round probably came from a group of individuals that had been target shooting about 500 yards away.<\/p>\n<p>Four individuals were interviewed and no charges have been placed at this time.<\/p>\n<p>The investigation was turned over to the the Sheriff&#8217;s Office when it was determined that the shooter was not hunting at the time.<\/p>\n<p>The investigation is ongoing.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>A hunter, a man in his 40&#8217;s, was accidentally shot in the arm and chest by another hunter on Perry road near Telephone road about 7 p.m. on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>According to Donald Roblee, Deputy Coordinator with Genesee County Emergency Management, the male victim was seriously injured and transported by Mercy Flight to Strong Hospital.
