The nearly $8 million project will add 5,000 square feet to the department, nearly doubling its size, and feature new technology and equipment. The result will be enhanced imaging capabilities that improve the experience for patients, their families and staff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cOne of Rochester Regional Health\u2019s main priorities has been to expand access to care in the Batavia community,\u201d said Eric Bieber, MD, Rochester Regional Health CEO. \u201cThat started with the Lipson Cancer Institute class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8211;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;New cooling infrastructure supporting UMMC and its growth of services on the main campus<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe department is heading into the future with state-of-the-art technology created with patient comfort in mind and the ability to minimize scan times and improve
