After engaging in an altercation with another person at a residence on Knowlesville road in Alabama on November 3, 2017, Paul R. Hoffman is charged with assault 2nd, strangulation 2nd and unlawful imprisonment 2nd.<\/p>\n

Hoffman allegedly struck the other person with a hammer, choked them to the point of unconsciousness and prevented them from leaving.<\/p>\n

Hoffman then allegedly called 9-1-1 requesting medical attention for the person due to an unknown medical condition.<\/p>\n

He was arraigned in the Town of Oakfield Court and jailed in lieu of $75,000 bail.<\/p>\n
