{"id":2599,"date":"2017-11-10T23:54:39","date_gmt":"2017-11-11T04:54:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/videonewsservice.net\/?p=2599"},"modified":"2017-11-10T23:54:39","modified_gmt":"2017-11-11T04:54:39","slug":"genesee-countylivestock-lost-in-barn-fire-in-alabama","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/videonewsservice.net\/index.php\/2017\/11\/10\/genesee-countylivestock-lost-in-barn-fire-in-alabama\/","title":{"rendered":"GENESEE COUNTY\/Livestock lost in barn fire in Alabama"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/b2NVlJ_97Gw\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The Alabama Fire Department was called to 1239 Judge road at about 8:30 on Friday night for a reported fire inside the barn.<\/p>\n<p>Upon arrival, a second alarm was requested and fire crews from Oakfield, Elba, Indian Falls and the City of Batavia Fast team were requested to the scene.<\/p>\n<p>The first barn was fully involved and according to a family member, goats, sheep and chickens were lost in the fire, several horses were able to get out and the status of the cows are unknown.<\/p>\n<p>Firefighters were working to keep a second barn from also catching fire.<\/p>\n<p>According to Deputy Richard Schildwaster with the Genesee County Sheriff&#8217;s Office, there was livestock lost in the fire.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We don&#8217;t know that it was intentionally set and we don&#8217;t know the cause of the fire at this time and it is under investigation,&#8221; says Schildwaster.<\/p>\n<p>No one was injured in the blaze.<\/p>\n<p>The two horses were harnessed and taken to a neighbors barn down the road for the night.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Alabama Fire Department was called to 1239 Judge road at about 8:30 on Friday night for a reported fire inside the barn.
