Ten fire companies responded to the Colonial Motel & Inn at 6544 Rt. 19A in Genesee Falls on Wednesday night, for a reported structure fire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The first fire crews arrived on scene at little after 7:30p.m., to find a fire outside of the structure that then extended up the side of the building and into the attic area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to Wyoming County Office of Emergency Services, the fire caused $125,000 in damages and is under investigation. It is owned by Ed Bodsadowski.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
No injuries were reported at the scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Fire crews from Pike, Bliss, Castile, Gainesville, Perry, Silver Springs, Fillmore, Wiscoy-Rossburg, Centerville and Nunda were on scene for about 5 hours. Also assisting on scene, Wyoming County Emergency Services, Wyoming County Sheriff’s, Pike Fire Dept.
