Wade J. Murphy, 48, of Fancher Rd., Clarendon, is charged with strangulation 2nd, unlawful imprisonment 1st and assault 3rd after a physical altercation at a residence in the Town of Oakfield on July 4, 2021 at 5:35p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Murphy, who was on parole, allegedly held a female victim against her will and strangled her during the incident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He was arraigned in the Town of Oakfield Court and was jailed without bail. Murphy is scheduled to appear in Genesee County Court at a later date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Clyde D. Hoskins Jr., 29, of Genesee St., Buffalo, is charged with criminal possession of a weapon 2nd\/loaded firearm, criminal possession of stolen property 4th\/firearm and tampering with physical evidence, following an investigation into a loaded pistol being located in a chicken coop in the town of Stafford on Rt. 237.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hoskins was arraigned in Stafford Town Court and released under the supervision of Genesee Justice. He is scheduled to re-appear in Stafford Town Court on August 12, 2021 at 6:00p.m.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
