The BCCR holds educational and support events so that members of the community can come together to learn and receive support.&nbsp;&nbsp; The BCCR advocates for legislation at the local, state, and national levels to help further along funding in the search for a cure.&nbsp; This year the event held onsite was a success due to the hard work of their staff and ours.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cOn behalf of the BCCR, I am astounded by this tremendous support, especially this year as we continue to cope with the fallout of COVID-19,\u201d said Holly Anderson, Executive Director and CEO of the BCCR. \u201cThough it is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we feel the support from the Batavia Downs community all year long. They entrust their friends and family members to us, assist us in making important connections within their community, and stay in touch with us on an ongoing basis. Breast cancer takes much more than \u201cawareness\u201d. It needs ACTION.
