On December 8, 2017, on Petrie Lane in Lyndonville, Investigator Gifaldi of the Orleans County Sheriff\u2019s Office, charged Dean Smith Jr., 41, of Dean\u2019s Home Improvement in Perry, with grand larceny 3rd. {A person is guilty of grand larceny in the third degree when they steal property and when the value of the property exceeds three thousand dollars. Grand larceny in the third degree is a \u201cD\u201d felony punishable by up to 7 years in prison.}<\/p>\n
Smith was remanded to the jail on $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond and is scheduled to return to the Town of Yates Court.<\/p>\n

He was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Gaines Court at a later date.<\/p>\n
On December 12, 2017, on Holley Road in Albion, Deputy Fox, assisted by Sgt. Doyle and Deputy Colonna of the Orleans County Sheriff\u2019s Office, the Albion Police Department, The New York State Police, and DEC, charged Orlando Hernandez, 23, of Albion, with criminal contempt 1st and harassment 2nd. He was remanded to the jail on $10,000 cash bail and is scheduled to return to the Town of Albion Court at a later date.<\/p>\n
