On December 26, 2017, at around 5:30 p.m., the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office received a report of two subjects who had allegedly entered the home of an acquaintance in the Town of Alexander after allegedly forcing their way into the residence.<\/p>\n
Once inside, the two subjects made threatening statements to the occupants and then physically engaged a person, damaged property, and stole property belonging to the resident. They also prevented a person from calling 9-1-1 by taking their cell phone. The incident occurred in front of a 12 year old child.<\/p>\n
After an investigation, Deputies arrested Amber Holland, 35, of\u00a0 Cambridge Square, Buffalo, and Jennifer Martino, 42, of Pearl street, Batavia.<\/p>\n
Both Holland and Martino are charged with robbery 2nd, burglary 2nd, criminal mischief 3rd, endangering the welfare of a child and criminal mischief 4th.<\/p>\n
Holland and Martino were located by deputies in a motor vehicle which was being operated by Holland in the City of Batavia.<\/p>\n
Holland was also charged with DWI, failure to submit to a breath test and unlawful possession of marijuana.<\/p>\n
Holland and Martino were arraigned in the Alexander Court and were jailed on $10,000 cash and $20,000 bond bail.<\/p>\n
Holland was also arraigned in City Court in the DWI charge and further bail was set at $2,500 cash\/bond.<\/p>\n
Deputies say all subjects involved were known to each other and no significant injuries were reported in the incident.<\/p>\n
