Eddie L. Miles Jr., AKA “Pops”, 46, of Washington avenue, Batavia, was arrested on a Grand Jury Indictment Warrant on January 7, 2018 for allegedly selling a quantity of crack cocaine on two occasions to an agent of the Genesee County Drug Task Force.<\/p>\n

Miles is charged with two counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance 3rd and two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance 3rd, both class B felonies.<\/p>\n

{207 Washington avenue\/January 7, 2018}<\/p>\n

Miles was arrested following an unrelated investigation by the Batavia Police Department into a domestic incident and structure fire on Washington avenue.<\/p>\n

Miles was arraigned in Genesee County Court Monday morning January 8, 2018 and committed to the County Jail.<\/p>\n

Task Force members were assisted in the investigation by the Genesee County District Attorney’s Office.<\/p>\n

Jonathan R. Hyman, 45, of Drake St., Oakfield, is charged with criminal possession of a weapon 3rd, operating a motor vehicle without an inspection certificate and unlawful possession of marijuana after a traffic stop on Rt. 5 in the Town of Batavia on January 6, 2018.<\/p>\n

Hyman was released on an appearance ticket and will appear in the Town of Batavia Court on January 28, 2018.<\/p>\n
