On April 18, 2022, at approximately 12:29 PM, the Batavia Police Department arrested Lorenzo J. Baker, no age provided, for criminal possession of a weapon 2nd, following a traffic stop where he was allegedly found to be in possession of a loaded revolver. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Simultaneously, the Batavia Police \/ Genesee County Sheriff’s Emergency Response Team executed a search warrant at his residence, located at 36 Dellinger Avenue, upper Apt.,\u00a0as part of an ongoing investigation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additional evidence was found at his residence. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Baker was arraigned before Judge Thomas Burns in Batavia City Court and held on $25,000.00 cash, $50,000.00 Insurance Company Bail Bond, or a $75,000.00 Partially Secured Appearance Bond. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Baker is scheduled to re-appear in Batavia City Court on April 21, 2022, at 1:30 PM. Due to the ongoing nature of the case, further details will not be released at this time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
