Grover reports the arrest of Samatha D. Barnett, 38, of Wellsville,<br>N.Y., following an investigation by the Perry Police Department. Sgt. Blake Russell received a report of a female passed out in her vehicle in the Crosby\u2019s parking lot on South Center Street around 10:45a.m. on Tuesday May 3, 2022. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Barnett did wake up upon police arrival but was acting strange. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sgt. Russell requested Barnett submit to standardized field sobriety tests, to which she complied. Barnett could not perform the tests as instructed and admitted to consuming narcotics as well as THC-infused food shortly before driving. Barnett was evaluated by a Drug Recognition Expert (DRE) who indicated that she was in fact impaired by drugs.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Barnett is charged with DWAI\/drugs and DWAI\/drugs-combo.
