Brandi A. Watts, 37, of Indian Falls Rd., Corfu, is charged with DWI, aggravated DWI, inadequate stop lamp and possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle after a traffic stop at 9 Washington avenue on January 21, 2018 at 2:42p.m.<\/p>\n
After a brief investigation by Deputy Richard Schildwaster, it is alleged that Watts was operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated by alcohol and had a BAC greater than .18% .<\/p>\n
Watts was processed at the Genesee County Jail and released on appearance tickets. She will appear in the City of Batavia Court on February 21, 2018 at 9:00a.m.<\/p>\n
Watts admitted to making false entries to steal money while working as her father’s Court Clerk in the Village of Corfu. She stole more than $10,000 while on the job. In October of 2013 she pleaded guilty to one count of tampering with government records, a class D felony.<\/p>\n
In January of 2014, as part of a plea agreement, Watts avoided jail time at sentencing and was released on interim probation if she stayed out of trouble for 11 months<\/p>\n
