Grover reports the arrest of a Gainesville resident on several charges following an investigation by the Perry Police Department.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On July 11, 2022, Officer Spencer Kramell received a complaint regarding a possible violation of a full stay away order of protection that was issued in Perry Village Court. \u00a0It was alleged by the victim that 36-year-old Cody D. McGrath, violated the order by sending emails to the victim as well as going to the victim\u2019s residence. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After conducting interviews with the suspect and reviewing the emails and home security camera footage, police say that McGrath violated the order on June 24, 2022. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">McGrath is charged with criminal contempt 1st degree, and aggravated family offense, both class E felonies. \u00a0The Wyoming County District Attorney\u2019s Office was contacted due to the felony-level charges and Assistant District Attorney Hamilton suggested a bail recommendation of $20,000 cash, $40,000 bond, $80,000 secured. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"900\" height=\"675\" data-attachment-id=\"34558\" data-permalink=\"https:\/\/videonewsservice.net\/index.php\/2022\/07\/26\/perry-police-report-gainesville-man-jailed-after-police-say-he-violated-an-order-of-protection\/fb_img_1658865040397\/\" data-orig-file=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/videonewsservice.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/FB_IMG_1658865040397.jpg?fit=1080%2C810&amp;ssl=1\" data-orig-size=\"1080,810\" data-comments-opened=\"1\" data-image-title=\"FB_IMG_1658865040397\" data-image-description=\"\" data-image-caption=\"\" data-large-file=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/videonewsservice.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/FB_IMG_1658865040397.jpg?fit=900%2C675&amp;ssl=1\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/videonewsservice.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/FB_IMG_1658865040397.jpg?resize=900%2C675&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-34558\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/videonewsservice.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/FB_IMG_1658865040397.jpg?resize=1024%2C768&amp;ssl=1 1024w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/videonewsservice.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/FB_IMG_1658865040397.jpg?resize=300%2C225&amp;ssl=1 300w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/videonewsservice.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/FB_IMG_1658865040397.jpg?resize=768%2C576&amp;ssl=1 768w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/videonewsservice.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/FB_IMG_1658865040397.jpg?resize=150%2C113&amp;ssl=1 150w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/videonewsservice.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/FB_IMG_1658865040397.jpg?w=1080&amp;ssl=1 1080w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">McGrath was arraigned in Perry Town Court before the Honorable Tom McLaughlin and was represented by the Public Defender\u2019s Office. \u00a0Judge McLaughlin committed McGrath on the above bail recommendation to the Wyoming County Jail. \u00a0He is due back in Perry Village Court on August 2, 2022. \u00a0 \u00a0  Also assisting with the investigation was Sgt.
