Senior Jack Tonzi caught a pass from third string quarterback Drew Strollo late in the first quarter to up the score to 20-0. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Warriors quarterback E&#8217;mere Fulton found Josiah Granville at midfield with a pass in the 2nd quarter, Granville continued on to the endzone to put Vertus on the board. Fulton then scampered in for two points to make the score 20-8. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With a bit over 4 minutes left in the second quarter, a Vertus player suffered an ankle injury and was transported off the field. The remaining 4 minutes of the 2nd quarter were played after half time and after Homecoming activities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After halftime, LeRoy came back on the field to continue their end of 2nd quarter drive with a touchdown from Drew Strollo who found an opening to the endzone to make the score 26-8, the extra point was good. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">LeRoy is now 4-1, Vertus has yet to win a game this season.
