On October 6, 2022, at 5:12 p.m., Troopers out of SP Warsaw arrested Joseph S. May, 52, of North Java, NY, charging him with driving while intoxicated, speeding and refusal to submit to a chemical test.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On October 6, 2022, Troopers out of SP Warsaw observed May passing four other vehicles while allegedly speeding on Rt. 246 in the town of Covington. Troopers stopped May on Lagrange road in the town of Covington, he was placed under arrest after failing field sobriety tests and was transported to SP Warsaw for processing. May refused to submit to a chemical test.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
May was issued traffic tickets and was arraigned in the town of Covington court. \u00a0He was released and is to re-appear in court on January 23, 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On October 5, 2022, Troopers out of SP Batavia arrested Dale W. Gress, 54, of Elba, NY, charging him with driving while Intoxicated and other vehicle and traffic infractions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On October 5, 2022, Troopers stopped Gress on West Saile Drive in the town of Batavia for a traffic infraction. While interviewing Gress, an odor of alcoholic beverage was allegedly present. Gress was placed under arrest after failing multiple field sobriety tests and transported to SP Batavia, where a chemical breath test revealed a 0.14% BAC.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
