UPDATE: The Batavia Police responded to Subway at 412 E. Main Street in the City of Batavia for a reported robbery. <\/span><\/p>\n The defendant, Ricky L Miller II, no age provided, demanded and secured money from the business, then fled on foot. <\/span><\/p>\n Miller was located a short time later at a nearby residence. <\/span><\/p>\n When located, Miller was illegally in possession of a hypodermic instrument. <\/span><\/p>\n Miller was arrested for robbery 3rd, petit larceny, and possession of a hypodermic instrument. <\/span><\/p>\n Genesee County Sheriff\u2019s Deputy Erion and K-9 Destro assisted with tracking Miller. <\/span><\/p>\n Miller was arraigned at Batavia City Court and remanded to the Genesee County Jail . He will return to Batavia City Court on January 17, 2017.<\/span><\/p>\n —————————————————<\/p>\n The Subway store on East Main street was robbed about 8:30 Saturday night.<\/p>\n According to Det. Sgt. Todd Crossett with the Batavia Police Department, a male subject entered the store and demanded money from the person working behind the counter.<\/p>\n The male subject received an amount of money, under $1,000, and fled on foot.<\/p>\n K-9 Destro and Deputy Christopher Erion were then requested to the scene to track the suspect.<\/p>\n Within 30 minutes, K-9 Destro and Deputy Erion found the male subject at a location on Swan street.<\/p>\n He was then taken into custody and arrested.<\/p>\n He is being charged with robbery and petit larceny in the incident.<\/p>\n No one was injured and it is believed there were no customers in the store at the time.<\/p>\n “If we didn’t have the K-9 it would have been more difficult to find out what way he went, says Crossett.<\/p>\n The male subject in custody will be arraigned in a few hours.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" UPDATE: The Batavia Police responded to Subway at 412 E.
