The Albion Police Department has arrested Bryton M. Hitzges, 20, after nearly a month-long investigation into several burglaries to dwellings, garages, and sheds along with larcenies from vehicles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


On January 4, 2023, about 3:30p.m., the Albion Police Department conducted a search at a residence in the Village of Albion on a warrant where Hitzges was subsequently arrested without incident. While conducting the search, officers recovered over 100 items of stolen property from victims within the Village of Albion.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hitzges is charged with burglary 2nd degree\/to a dwelling, four counts of burglary 3rd degree, 5 counts of petite larceny and criminal mischief 4th degree.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hitzges was committed to the Orleans County Jail pending arraignment. Upon arraignment, he was
released on his own recognizance. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
