Eric K. Ricks, 38,\u00a0 of Ellicott St. Rd., Batavia, is charged with obstructing governmental administration 2nd, aggravated unlicensed operation 2nd, operating a vehicle while registration suspended and operating a vehicle without insurance after a traffic stop at 12 Swan street on January 11, 2017.<\/p>\n
Ricks was found to be operating the vehicle with a suspended registration and his driving privilege was also suspended.<\/p>\n
During the traffic stop, Ricks became confrontational with police refusing to follow verbal commands. He was taken into custody without any further incident.<\/p>\n

Timothy J. Wood Sr., 27, of S. Main St., Batavia, is charged with harassment 2nd following an altercation with another person on South Main street on January 9, 2017.<\/p>\n
During an argument, Wood allegedly struck another person.<\/p>\n
He was issued an appearance ticket.<\/p>\n

Shane K. Borton, 44, of Chase Park, Batavia, is charged with harassment 2nd after he allegedly pushed and then punched a roommate off the front porch on January 13, 2017.<\/p>\n
Borton was issued an appearance ticket and released.<\/p>\n
He will appear in City Court on January 24, 2017 at 1:00p.m.<\/p>\n

Sadie D. Waala, 25, of Colonial Blvd., Batavia, is charged with DWI, driving with a BAC of .08% or more, speeding in a zone and failure to yield the right of way to an emergency vehicle on West Main street on January 15, 2017.<\/p>\n
Waala was issued appearance tickets and will appear in City Court on January 31, 2017 at 9:00a.m.<\/p>\n

James M. Spangler II, 40, of W. Main St., Batavia,\u00a0 is charged with criminal contempt 2nd after violating a complete stay away order of protection by mailing a letter to the protected party while Spangler was in jail.<\/p>\n
Spangler was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in City Court on January 24, 2017 at 1:00p.m.<\/p>\n

Robert L. Jordan, 70, of State St., Batavia, is charged with petit larceny after he allegedly stole a king size Reese’s Cup candy bar at 99 Jackson street, the Kwik Fill, on January 1, 2017.<\/p>\n
Jordan was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in City Court on January 24, 2017.<\/p>\n

Dustin W. Bogue, 34, of Sunset Parkway, Oakfield, is charged with trespass 2nd after refusing to leave a residence where he had no legal right to be on Walnut street on January 15, 2017.<\/p>\n
Bogue was released on an appearance ticket.<\/p>\n

Jonathan S. Cassidy, 49, of Highland Park, Batavia, was arrested on a warrant for failing to appear in court for an incident that occurred on April 21, 2016 on Main street.<\/p>\n
