A Genesee County Grand Jury has indicted Phillip S. Muzzy Jr., accusing him of burglary 3rd , a class D. felony in the “smash a grab” burglary at Pavilion Farms gas station at 11091 S. Lake road in the Town of Pavilion on October 22, 2017.<\/p>\n
In count 2, Muzzy Jr. is accused of criminal mischief 2nd, a class D felony, after damaging the property of another person in an amount exceeding $1500. Muzzy caused damage to a glass door and a computerized cash register system and cash drawer at Pavilion Farms gas station on October 22, 2018.<\/p>\n
In count 3, Muzzy Jr. is accused of petit larceny, a class A misdemeanor, after stealing property from Pavilion Farms gas station on October 22, 2018.<\/p>\n
In count 4, Muzzy Jr. is accused of burglary 3rd, a class D felony, after knowingly entering Crosby’s at 6316 Telephone road in the Town of Pavilion on October 22, 2018 with intent to commit a crime.<\/p>\n
In count 5, Muzzy Jr., is accused of criminal mischief 3rd, a class E felony after damaging property in an amount exceeding $250, a glass door, at Crosby’s in the Town of Pavilion on October 22, 2018.<\/p>\n
In count 6, Muzzy Jr., is accused of grand larceny 4th, a class E felony, after stealing property having a value in excess of one thousand dollars while at Crosby’s in the Town of Pavilion.<\/p>\n

The Genesee County Sheriff\u2019s Office arrested Phillip S. Muzzy Jr., of Lackawanna, for his involvement in the \u201csmash and grab\u201d burglaries at Crosby\u2019s and Pavilion Farms gas stations in Pavilion that occurred on October 22, 2017.
\nMuzzy is charged with two counts of burglary 3rd, criminal mischief 2nd, criminal mischief 3rd and grand larceny 4th.
\nMuzzy was arraigned in Pavilion Town Court and bail was set at $15,000 cash and $20,000 bond.
\nMuzzy is currently incarcerated at the Erie County Holding Center after he was arrested on October 28, 2017 after a vehicle stop in Elma, NY. Sheriff\u2019s investigators in Erie County were staking out a location at an Elma convenient store when they spotted Muzzy and another suspect James Trala, 30, of Depew.
\nAfter the traffic stop, investigators discovered evidence from recent burglaries inside the vehicle.
\nThe suspects used a brick to smash glass doors to make entry to the convenient stores\/gas stations.
\nIn Erie County, Muzzy is charge with felony counts of burglary, criminal mischief 2nd and grand larceny 4th and is being held on $5,000 bail . He also has an outstanding Family Court warrant.
\nThe subjects stole lottery tickets, cigarettes, cash and cash donations from a breast cancer awareness collection box according to the Erie County Sheriff\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
