The Batavia Police Department has arrested Michael J. Piasta Jr.,37, of E Main St., Batavia for an armed robbery which occurred at Arbys in Batavia on March 25, 2018.<\/p>\n

Piasta Jr. is charged with robbery 2nd, a class C felony,criminal possession of a weapon 3rd, a class D felony and grand larceny 3rd, a class D felony.<\/p>\n

He allegedly entered Arby\u2019s with what appeared to be a hand gun and stole over $6,000.00.<\/p>\n

Piasta Jr. was arraigned in Batavia City Court before Judge Rodgers and remanded to the Genesee County Jail without bail.<\/p>\n

He will re-appear in Batavia City Court on April 16, 2018 at 1:30 PM.<\/p>\n

The Batavia Police Department would like to thank the Genesee County Drug Task Force, the Genesee County Probation Department and the citizens of Batavia for all their assistance with this case.<\/p>\n
