The driver of the gray Honda Civic, James M. Hoskins, of Corfu, suffered possible serious injuries and Crash Management was called to the scene to investigate the accident and the road was shut down for about 4 hours.<br \/>\nA driver and passenger in the pick up truck, Gerald D. Sanders and Lynn Sanders of Batavia, were transported to ECMC as a precaution. The male driver of the Hyundai Sonata, Jacob J. Szumigala, of Oakfield, who was in his mid 20&#8217;s, did not suffer any life threatening injuries.<br \/>\nSzumigala, was found to be under the influence of alcohol and drugs and was arrested for driving while intoxicated and transported to ECMC with minor injuries. Several charges are pending following the results of a toxicology report of Szumigala&#8217;s blood and a full investigation is completed.<\/p>\n<p>The crash is being investigated by Undersheriff Greg Walker, Chief Joseph Graff, Sgt. Jason Saile, Sgt. Andrew Hale, Deputies Kyle Krzemien and Robert Henning.
