Gary D. Burney, 37, of N. Spruce St. Batavia, was arrested for criminal contempt 2nd after he was found inside another person’s apartment in violation of a complete stay away order of protection on April 21, 2018.<\/p>\n

Burney was also arrested on a warrant stemming from a prior domestic incident with the same person in November of 2017 where he forcefully stole the keys, purse and vehicle belonging to the person, he then fled the scene. He is charged with robbery 2nd, grand larceny 4th\/automobile, grand larceny 4th\/credit card, criminal contempt 1st\/prior conviction within 5 years, in this incident.<\/p>\n

Burney is currently being held at the Genesee County Jail with no bail set and he will appear in City Court this morning at 9:30a.m.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
