A Perry man was arrested following the investigation of a burglary that occurred at a residence in the Town of Castile in which checks were reported stolen and also cashed on January 23, 2017.<\/p>\n
Mason Maha, 19, of Perry is charged with burglary 2nd and petit larceny.<\/p>\n
Maha was arraigned before Town of Castile Justice Millilo and was released to the Wyoming County Pre -Trial Program.<\/p>\n
He is scheduled to re- appear in the Town of Castile Court at a later date.<\/p>\n
Deputy Mike Majtyka and Perry Police Officer Tim Bryant also assisted with the investigation.<\/p>\n

Duane L. Archer, 44, of Columbia, Maryland, was arrested following a traffic stop on Route 20A at Toolhouse Road in the Town of Warsaw on January 22, 2017.<\/p>\n
Archer was stopped after being observed by police crossing the center line of the roadway multiple times and speeding while in the Village of Warsaw.<\/p>\n
Archer was found to have one active suspension in New York State since 2014 for failure to pay a driver responsibility assessment fee to the NYS DMV.<\/p>\n
He is charged with aggravated unlicensed operation 3rd, speeding in a zone, and failure to keep right.<\/p>\n
Archer was arraigned in the Town of Warsaw Court where he was held on $500.00 cash bail or $2,000.00 bond.<\/p>\n
He is scheduled to return to the Village of Warsaw Court on March 6, 2017 to answer the charges.<\/p>\n

On January 17, 2017, Wyoming County Sheriff\u2019s responded to South Main Street, Village of Castile, for a reported two car accident.<\/p>\n
Upon arrival, it was found that one car had rear ended another car.<\/p>\n
The driver and a passenger of the vehicle at fault fled the scene on foot prior to the deputy’s arrival.<\/p>\n
Deputy Sampson spoke to an eyewitness and obtained a description of the two subjects that fled. Minutes later, a good samaritan on Glen Iris Road informed the Sheriff\u2019 Department of two male subjects looking for a ride.<\/p>\n
The Sheriff\u2019s Deputy along with New York State Police responded to Glen Iris Road and located the subjects.<\/p>\n
It was determined that they were the subjects that fled from the accident scene.<\/p>\n
After an investigation into the incident, Jonathan Carr II, 27, of Nunda, was arrested for felony DWI. It was found that Carr II was operating the vehicle with a .11% BAC level.<\/p>\n
Carr II is charged with felony DWI, felony operating a motor vehicle with .08% BAC or higher, aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle, leaving the scene of a property damage accident, operating without insurance, and following to close.<\/p>\n
Carr II was arraigned and held in the Wyoming County Jail on $2,500 cash or $5,000 bond. He is to re-appear in court on April 3, 2017.<\/p>\n
