Steven R. Columbo, 30, of Ellicott St., Batavia, is charged with criminal contempt 1st(prior conviction), strangulation 2nd and criminal contempt 1st\/physical contact following a domestic incident where Columbo is accused of punching a female victim in the mouth and choking her to a point where she nearly lost consciousness at a location on East Main street on January 25, 2017.<\/p>\n
There is an order of protection ordering Columbo to stay away from the victim and Columbo has been previously convicted within the past 5 years of violating the order of protection.<\/p>\n
He was arraigned in City Court.<\/p>\n

Ryan R. Hernandez, 20, of Albion Rd., Oakfield, is charged with coercion 1st and aggravated harassment 2nd and criminal possession of a weapon after a domestic incident on Walnut street on January 24, 2017.<\/p>\n
Hernandez allegedly threatened a former significant other via text message.<\/p>\n
At the time of his arrest, metal knuckles were located inside his vehicle.<\/p>\n
Hernandez was arraigned in City Court and jailed in lieu of $10,000 cash or bond bail.<\/p>\n
He will appear in City Court later this morning.<\/p>\n

Carlton L. Beardsley, 22, of Walnut St., Batavia, is charged with petit larceny and attempted petit larceny after he allegedly stole property from a local business at 300 Ellicott street on January 24, 2017.<\/p>\n
Police responded looking to locate Beardsley, as it was reported he was attempting to steal property from another business.<\/p>\n
Beardsley was arraigned and jailed in lieu of $5,000 cash bail and $10,000 bond bail.<\/p>\n
He will re-appear in City Court later today.<\/p>\n
