Maple Lodge uses the Holistic Approach to Transformational Change Model (HATCH Model) putting the needs, interests, and lifestyle choices of individuals at the center of care giving.<\/p>\n<p>Long term care is provided on this modern, yet comfortably designed unit. \u201cThis new environment, along with our high level of compassionate care provides Veterans a safe, comfortable place they can truly call home.\u201d said Dr. Grace Stringfellow, M.D., Chief of Staff.<br \/>\nThe design consists of an open kitchen, eating areas, and several living room spaces complete with a fireplace. The kitchen table always has snacks or fruit available along with coffee, tea, and the ability to make fresh baked goods reinforcing the home atmosphere.
