A 10’by 50′ single story temporary barn is a total loss after a late afternoon fire in the Town of Castile on Wednesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Wyoming County Office of Emergency Services, eight fire companies responded to the Gurung Family’s property at 6658 Abbott Road, for a working barn fire about 4:45p.m. All the animals inside the barn were able to escape the blaze with the exception of one adult pig.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No one was injured in the fire. The cause is listed as accidental.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fire crews from Silver Springs, Castile, Gainesville, Perry, Perry Center, Warsaw, Pavilion and Perry EMS were on scene for about 3 hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
