Caroline R. Salemi, 87, and Timothy A. Burch, 61, of Ellicott Avenue, Batavia, NY, are each charged with unlawful eviction and petit larceny, after allegedly removing their tenant’s property from an apartment and then moving in another tenant in without properly evicting the first tenants. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Salemi and Burch also allegedly threw out some of the first tenant’s property. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Genesee County Sheriff’s Office would like to remind landlords that they must properly evict a tenant that has resided in a residence for over 30 days, or they may face criminal charges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

James A. Williams, 40, of E. Main St., Rochester, NY, is charged with DWI\/two previous convictions within 10 years, aggravated unlicensed operation 1st degree, failure to operate with an interlock device, speed over 55mph, and moving from a lane unsafely, following a traffic stop on Clinton Street Road in Stafford on September 24, 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Williams will appear in the Town of Stafford Court on October 17, 2023 at 10:00a.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Graber was held without bail and appeared in the Town of Batavia Court on September 21, 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Joel D. Prouty, 37, of Thomas Ave., Batavia, NY, is charged with criminal contempt 1st degree, after he allegedly contacting a protected person in a stay away order of protection. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Prouty allegedly was contacting a protected person in a stay away order of protection, while at the Genesee County jail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Prouty was transported to Batavia City Court for arraignment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
