A North street man is charged with felony assault 1st degree in a stabbing that occurred on Church street in Elba at 4:30p.m. Monday afternoon.<\/p>\n
Lamont L. Crimes, 42, of North St., Batavia, allegedly stabbed another person during an altercation.<\/p>\n
Crimes was arrested and arraigned in the Town of Elba Court and will re-appear in Court on May 31, 2018.<\/p>\n
Crimes is being held on $15,000 bond and $30,000 cash bail.<\/p>\n
The incident was investigated by Sgt. Hale, Deputy R. Henning, Deputy K. Forsyth and Inv. J. Diehl.<\/p>\n
The condition of the victim is unknown at this time. The victim was transported to the hospital.<\/p>\n
UPDATE: According to Sheriff’s Office, the victim was treated and released with multiple stab wounds.<\/p>\n
