The Genesee County Local Drug Enforcement Task Force, comprised of Police Officers from the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office and the Batavia Police Department, executed a search warrant of 14 S. Spruce Street in the City of Batavia in the early morning hours of October 28, 2023. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The search warrant was a result of a several month investigation into the illegal possession and sale of narcotics from 14 S. Spruce Street and weapons possession. Four Batavia residents were arrested as a result:<\/p>\n\n\n

Michael J. Torres<\/em><\/strong>, 30, was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon for allegedly possessing a loaded firearm, a Class C Felony, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd degree, a Class B Felony and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd degree, a class D Felony.<\/p>\n\n\n

Haley M. Larnder<\/em><\/strong>, 24, was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd degree for allegedly possessing a loaded firearm, a Class C Felony, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd degree, a Class B Felony and Criminal Possession of a Weapon, a class A Misdemeanor.<\/p>\n\n\n

Dawn M. Morford<\/em><\/strong>, 63, was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd degree, a class B Felony and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd degree, a class D Felony.<\/p>\n\n\n

Jason H. Freeman<\/em><\/strong>, 32, was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd degree, a class B Felony and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd, a class D Felony. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Torres, Larnder, Morford and Freeman were held at the Genesee County Jail pending C.A.P. Court arraignment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Genesee County Drug Task Force was assisted by the Batavia Emergency Response Team (ERT), comprised of Police Officers from Batavia Police and Genesee County Sheriff’s Office, Uniformed Officers of the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office, the Batavia Police Department and the Genesee County District Attorney’s Office.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
