On 11\/9\/2023, Germayne D. Fifer,19, and Elijah A. Davis, 22, both of Inkster, Michigan, along with Tyrese I. Heard, 19, of Ypsilanti, Michigan, were each charged with Grand Larceny 3rd degree and Conspiracy 5th degree. The charges stem from an investigation into an incident on 11\/9\/2023, after police responded to Speedway on West Main Street for a larceny complaint. According to a store clerk, the suspects allegedly used a credit card scam and stole over $5,000 in gift cards. Officers located and stopped the suspects\u2019 vehicle on Oak Street. All three suspects were arrested and arraigned in Batavia City Court. They were released and were scheduled to appear in court, on 11\/20\/2023. <\/p>\n\n\n

On 11\/4\/2023, Jimmy Ramirez, 41, of Rochester, NY was arrested and charged with felony DWI. The arrest follows a civilian complaint of a possibly intoxicated driver on Lewiston Road. Officers located the vehicle and found that Ramirez was allegedly operating while intoxicated. He was issued several traffic tickets and is due in court on 11\/15\/2023. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 11\/15\/2023, Edwin L. Bethel, 57, of Rochester, NY, was arrested and charged with Assault 3rd degree, two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, Criminal Mischief 4th degree, and Petit Larceny. Bethel was arrested following an investigation into a disturbance on South Main Street on 11\/11\/2023. It\u2019s alleged that he caused injury to another person, damaged property and stole the victim\u2019s car keys all while in the presence of two children under seventeen years old. He was arraigned in Batavia City Court and released. He is due back in court on 12\/7\/2023. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 11\/14\/2023, Kate J. Long, 39, of Batavia, NY, is charged with Harassment 2nd degree, a violation. It\u2019s alleged that Long sent numerous unwanted e-mails to the Batavia City School Board of Education, for no legitimate purpose. Long was issued an appearance ticket and is due in City Court on 12\/5\/2023. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 11\/16\/2023, Stephanie L. Coley, 41, of Lockport, NY, was arrested on an arrest warrant. Coley was initially charged on 9\/24\/2021 with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree. A warrant was issued after she allegedly failed to appear in court. She was arraigned and released under the supervision of Genesee Justice. She is due back in court on 12\/7\/2023. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 11\/15\/2023, Michael J. Torres, 40, of Batavia, NY, was arrested on a bench warrant. Torres was initially charged on 4\/12\/2023, with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd degree (Intent to Sell) and Obstructing Governmental Administration 2nd degree, after allegedly fleeing a traffic stop on a bicycle. He was arraigned in CAP Court and is due back in City Court at a later date. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 11\/16\/2023, George J. Budzinack, 43, of Batavia, NY, was arrested on a bench warrant. He was initially arrested on 9\/27\/2023, after an investigation into the larceny of a bicycle on East Main Street. The warrant was issued after he allegedly failed to appear in court. Budzinack was arraigned in CAP Court and is due in City Court at a later date. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 11\/13\/2023, Christine M. Caplis, 43, of Elba, NY, was arrested and charged with Criminal Tampering 3rd degree. It\u2019s alleged that Caplis tampered with the security cameras at an apartment building on Liberty Street. She was issued an appearance ticket and is due in Batavia City Court on 11\/28\/2023. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 11\/14\/2023, Thomas A. Griffin, 36, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs. Griffin was charged in relation to an incident on 10\/10\/2023, where he was allegedly found to be operating a vehicle while impaired by drugs. He was issued an appearance ticket and is due in Batavia City Court on 11\/28\/2023. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 11\/2\/2023, Timothy M. Pendleton, 38, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree, Obstructing Governmental Administration 2nd degree, and several traffic violations. Pendleton was arrested following a traffic stop on East Avenue where he was allegedly found to be in possession of narcotics. Pendleton then engaged in a physical altercation with police, when they attempted to take him into custody. He was issued appearance tickets and is due in Batavia City Court on 11\/21\/2023. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 11\/15\/2023, Dorian D. Batchelor, 56, of Williamsville, NY, was arrested and charged with Criminal Contempt 2nd degree. It\u2019s alleged the Batchelor violated an order of protection by entering the protected party\u2019s residence. He was arraigned and is due back in court at a later date. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 11\/3\/2023, Ameriquay J. Scott-Whitaker,18, of Rochester, NY, was charged with Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 3rd degree, Reckless Endangerment 1st degree, Endangering the Welfare of a Child, Possession of Burglar\u2019s Tools, and Unlawfully Fleeing Police in a Motor Vehicle 3rd degree. The charges stem from an incident on Clinton Street where Batavia Police attempted to stop a vehicle that had been reported stolen out of Rochester. The vehicle, allegedly operated by Scott-Whitaker, failed to stop and led police on a pursuit. State Police were able to successfully deploy spike strips, in the area of Rt. 33 and Rt. 19. Scott-Whitaker along with four juveniles were taken into custody a short time later. Scott-Whitaker was arraigned and is due in Batavia City Court at a later date. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 11\/8\/2023, Jamie S. Kraft, 38, of Bath, NY, was arrested on an arrest warrant. Kraft was initially arrested on 9\/13\/2023 and charged with Aggravated Harassment 2nd degree, Obstructing Governmental Administration 2nd degree and Falsely Reporting an Incident 3rd degree. Kraft allegedly made numerous 911 calls in which he falsely reported that people had been struck by lightning. He then threatened to stab police. Kraft was arraigned and released on his own recognizance. He is due in Batavia City Court on 11\/30\/2023. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 11\/9\/2023, Benjamin G. Evans, 35, of Batavia, NY, was arrested on three warrants out of Batavia City Court. Two of the warrants were related to separate Petit Larceny charges. The other resulted from charges of Trespass and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree. He was arraigned in CAP Court and is due in Batavia City Court at a later date. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 11\/9\/2023, Jeanine D. Fuller, 37, was arrested on an arrest warrant. The arrest stems from an incident where Fuller was allegedly found inside the vacant Days Inn Motel on Oak St on 8\/23\/2023. She was arraigned in CAP Court and released. She is due back at a later date. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 11\/6\/2023, Marcus A. King, 22, of Rochester, NY, was arrested and charged with Harassment 2nd degree. King was charged after an investigation into an incident on Pearl Street, where he allegedly struck another person in the face. He was issued an appearance ticket and is due in court on 11\/14\/2023. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 11\/10\/2023, Gregory M. Wansha, 23, of Batavia, NY was arrested and charged with Criminal Mischief 4th degree. It\u2019s alleged that Wansha slashed the tire on another person\u2019s car on State Street. He was issued an appearance ticket and is due in Batavia City Court on 11\/21\/2023. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 11\/6\/2023, Terrance L. Falk, 25, of Batavia, NY, was arrested on a warrant out of Batavia City Court. The original charges stem from an incident on Washington Avenue where he allegedly threatened another person with a knife. He was arraigned and remanded to the Genesee County Jail. He is due back in court on 11\/29\/2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 11\/17\/2023, Adam J. Kaczanowski, 22, of Eden, NY, was arrested on a warrant. Kaczanowski was originally charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle 3rd degree, after being involved in a motor vehicle accident on 9\/26\/2023. He was issued an appearance ticket, but allegedly failed to appear in court. Kaczanowski was arraigned in Batavia City Court and released on his own recognizance. He is due back in court, on 12\/19\/2023. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 11\/20\/2023, Krystal L. Frye, 33, of Jamestown, NY, was arrested on a bench warrant. Frye was initially arrested on 4\/2\/2019 and charged with Grand Larceny 4th degree, after an investigation into an incident where she allegedly stole a debit card. A warrant was issued after Frye allegedly failed to appear for a court appearance. She was arraigned in CAP Court and released on her own recognizance. She is due back in court at a later date. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 11\/13\/2023, Kenneth B. Jordan, 31, of Albion, NY, was arrested on a warrant. Jordan was originally charged on 1\/16\/2023 with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle 3rd degree, after a traffic stop on River Street. Jordan was issued an appearance ticket, but allegedly failed to appear in court. He was arraigned in Batavia City Court and released. He is due back in court on 11\/29\/2023. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 11\/9\/2023, Heidi S. Kollarik, 51, of Oakfield, NY, was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated. Kollarik was charged following a traffic stop on East Main Street, where she was allegedly found to be operating a vehicle while intoxicated. She was issued traffic tickets and is due in court on 11\/21\/2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
