On 11\/24\/2023, John A. Cabrera, 56, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd degree, Menacing 2nd degree, Resisting Arrest, Obstructing Governmental Administration 2nd degree, and Harassment 2nd. It\u2019s alleged that Cabrera threatened another person with a handgun, during an altercation on Washington Avenue. He then fought with police, when they attempted to take him into custody. While being booked into the jail, Cabrera was allegedly found in possession of contraband. He was additionally charged with Promoting Prison Contraband 1st degree. He was arraigned and is due back in Batavia City Court at a later date. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 11\/28\/2023, Benjamin G. Evans, 35, of Batavia, NY, was arrested on three bench warrants. Two of the warrants are related to incidents where Evans allegedly stole packages from porches. The other is related to a trespassing complaint on Swan Street on 9\/19\/2023. Evans was arraigned in CAP Court and released. He is due back in Batavia City Court at a later date. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 11\/27\/2023, James L. Dart, 70, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Harassment 2nd degree. Dart allegedly spit on another person during an altercation on Tracy Avenue. He was issued an appearance ticket and is due in court on 12\/12\/2023. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 11\/18\/2023, Carla L. Spikes, 33, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Harassment 2nd. It\u2019s alleged that Spikes punched another person in the face, during an altercation on Hutchins Street. She was issued an appearance ticket and was scheduled to appear in court on 11\/28\/2023. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 11\/16\/2023, Trevon L. Armstrong, 38, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Criminal Mischief 4th degree. Armstrong allegedly damaged a window at a residence on Denio Street. He was issued an appearance ticket and was scheduled to appear in court on 11\/28\/2023. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 11\/28\/2023, Haley M. Larnder, 24, of Batavia, NY, was arrested on two counts of Bail Jumping 3rd degree. The charges stem from two separate cases where Larnder was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree. She allegedly failed to appear for a scheduled court appearance. Larnder was issued appearance tickets and is due in court on 12\/6\/2023. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 11\/14\/2023, Daniel N. McDaid, 40, of Tonawanda, NY, and April J. Conley, 39, of Lewiston, NY, were arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree. McDaid and Conley were charged following a traffic stop on Ross Street where they were allegedly found in possession of narcotics. Conley was additionally charged with Tampering with Physical Evidence after she allegedly attempted to hide evidence. Both were issued appearance tickets and are due in Batavia City Court on 12\/5\/2023. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 11\/21\/2023, Allyson P. Lawrence, 29, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree. The arrest stems from on incident on 11\/26\/2022, where Lawrence was allegedly found in possession of narcotics while being arrested on an unrelated warrant. Lawrence was arraigned and released on her own recognizance. She is due back in court on 12\/6\/2023. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 11\/12\/2023, Russell H. Blumer, 51, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Harassment 2nd degree. It\u2019s alleged that Blumer punched another person, during an altercation at a residence on Thorp Street while a child under 17 was present. He was arraigned in CAP Court and released. He is due back in court at a later date. <\/p>\n\n\n

On 11\/22\/2023, Shawna L. Lamont, 34, of Perry, NY, was arrested and charged with Bail Jumping 2nd degree. It\u2019s alleged that Lamont failed to appear in court, after being released on a charge of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 5th degree. She was arraigned and is due in Batavia City Court at a later date. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 11\/26\/2023, Jerome W. Amesbury, 58, of Batavia, NY, was arrested on a bench warrant. The warrant stems from a traffic stop on Ellicott Street on 6\/23\/2023, where Amesbury was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle 3rd degree and several traffic violations. The warrant was issued after he failed to appear in court. Amesbury was arraigned in CAP Court and released. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 11\/23\/2023, Trevawn O. Wright, 23, of LeRoy, NY, was arrested on an arrest warrant. Wright was initially charged on 8\/16\/2023 with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle 2nd degree, after he was involved in a traffic accident on South Main Street. The warrant was issued after he failed to appear in court. He was arraigned in CAP Court and released.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 11\/22\/2023, Alex P. Brasky, 32, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with DWI. Brasky was arrested following a traffic stop on South Jackson Street, where he was allegedly found to be operating a vehicle while intoxicated. He was arraigned in CAP Court and released. He is due back in court on 12\/12\/2023. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
