The Orleans County Sheriff\u2019s Office arrested an Albion man for causing damage to property at Creekwood apartments in the Town of Gaines.<\/p>\n
Michael T. Coffey, 47, of Main St., Albion, allegedly cut window screens to gain entry to an apartment of an acquaintance.<\/p>\n
Coffey is charged with criminal mischief 4th. He was arraigned before Town of Gaines Justice Schmidt.<\/p>\n
Coffey was remanded to the custody of the Sheriff with bail set at $1,000 cash or $2,000 bond.<\/p>\n
He is scheduled to return to the Town of Gaines Court on February 8, 2017.<\/p>\n

The Orleans County Sheriff\u2019s Office has charged three people following a report of suspicious activity at the Mount Albion Cemetery on Rt. 31 in the Town of Albion on January 30, 2017.<\/p>\n
At 3:19 a.m., Sgt D. Foeller, while on patrol, reportedly observed a vehicle driving into the cemetery which was closed at the time.<\/p>\n
Upon further investigation, two vehicles were located in a wooded area at the back of the cemetery with their lights off.<\/p>\n
Christian K. Mell, 20, of Prospect St., Attica, and Timothy D. Dioguardi, 28, of College View Dr., Batavia, were each charged with unlawful possession of marijuana after a smoking pipe, grinder and marijuana were allegedly found in their possession.<\/p>\n
Mell and Dioguardi were issued appearance tickets and both are scheduled to appear in the Town of Albion Court on February 15, 2017 at 9:00am.<\/p>\n

Jill A. Rechtsiegel, 37,\u00a0 of Brown St, Albion, is charged with aggravated unlicensed operation 3rd .<\/p>\n
Rechtsiegel is scheduled to appear in the Town of Albion Court on February 21, 2017 at 9:00am.<\/p>\n
Sgt Foeller was assisted by Deputy S. Fox, and Albion Police Officer Burke.<\/p>\n
