The candidates were there to evaluate and observe 12 different people with substance abuse issues.<\/p>\n<p>Trooper Thomas Eggert finished the training with a 99 average and scored a 100 on the final exam.<\/p>\n<p>Currently there are 277 DRE officers throughout the State of New York<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>22 new Drug Recognition Experts from across NYS graduated during a ceremony at GCC on Tuesday morning.
