The Genesee County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an apparent homicide. The victim has been identified as Michael G. Poole, 59, of the Olcott, NY area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The victim was located on Tuesday afternoon, March 19, 2024 in the Town of Alabama during an investigation into a missing person out of Niagara County.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A preliminary investigation indicates that this appears to be an isolated incident and there is no public threat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anyone with information related to the incident is asked to contact the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office at 585-343-5000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The investigation is ongoing, and no further details are being released at this time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
