On 4\/24\/2024, Shawn M. Sloan, 39, of Batavia, NY was arrested and charged with Burglary 2nd degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd degree, Menacing 2nd degree, Criminal Mischief 4th degree, and Harassment 2nd degree. It\u2019s alleged that Sloan broke into a residence on Porter Avenue, while in possession of a pellet gun. He was arraigned in Batavia City Court and remanded to the Genesee County Jail. He is due back in court on 5\/9\/2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 4\/21\/2024, Benito A. Gay, 36, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Robbery 2nd degree and Menacing 2nd degree. Gay allegedly forcibly stole money from another person on Hutchins Street while giving the appearance of pointing a firearm. He was arraigned in CAP Court and remanded to the Genesee County Jail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 4\/17\/2024, Nathaniel R. Davis, 29, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd degree, Menacing 2nd degree, Criminal Obstruction of Breathing, and Harassment 2nd degree. Davis was arrested following an investigation into an altercation on Porter Avenue, where he allegedly held a knife to another person\u2019s throat and grabbed them around the neck. He was arraigned in Batavia City Court and remanded to the Genesee County Jail, without bail. He is due back in court on 5\/1\/2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 4\/24\/2024, Trevor N. Christman, 33, of Batavia, NY, was arrested on an arrest warrant. Christman was initially arrested on 3\/14, after allegedly exposing himself in public. The warrant was issued after he failed to appear in court. He was arraigned in Batavia City Court and released. He is due back in court on 5\/9\/2024. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 4\/23\/2024, Ricky L. Miller, 42, and Ryan M. Arner, no age provided, both of Batavia, NY, were arrested and charged with Petit Larceny. Miller and Arner allegedly stole merchandise from Tops. They were both issued appearance tickets and are due in court on 4\/30\/2024. Miller was turned over to the Genesee County Sheriff\u2019s Department on an outstanding warrant. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 4\/23\/2024, Mark A. Remington, 50, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Petit Larceny. Remington allegedly stole merchandise from Quicklee\u2019s. He was issued an appearance ticket and released. He is due in court on 5\/14\/2024. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 4\/19\/2024, Robert B. Elliott, 50, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Harassment 2nd degree and Obstructing Governmental Administration 2nd degree. Elliott was arrested after police responded to Hutchins Street for a physical disturbance inside a residence. Elliott allegedly pushed another person and then resisted when officers attempted to detain him. He was issued an appearance ticket and is due in court on 5\/7\/2024. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 4\/16\/2024, Fawn Dockstader, 37, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child. Dockstader allegedly dug her nails into a 12-year-old child\u2019s arm, grabbed the child by the hair and punched the child in the face. Dockstader was arraigned in Batavia City Court and released. She is due back in court on 4\/30\/2024. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
