\nOn July 19, 2018, New York State Police out of State Police\/Warsaw arrested Elaina S. Freeman, 30, of Buffalo, for promoting prison contraband in the 1st degree and official misconduct.<\/p>\n

Freeman was employed as a teacher at Wyoming Correctional Facility, Attica, NY during 2017 when she smuggled a cellphone into the facility for use by an inmate. The investigation was also conducted by NYSDOCCS, Office of Special Investigation.<\/p>\n

Freeman was arraigned in Wyoming County Court today and was released to appear in court in August of 2018.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
