On 7\/9\/2024, Jonathan E. Garcia, 32, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Failure to Register as a Sex Offender.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s alleged that Garcia, who is a registered sex offender, failed to register e-mail and social media accounts. He was released on an appearance ticket and is due in Batavia City Court, on 7\/16\/2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 7\/4\/2024, Carl E. Canterbury, 53, and Brant G. Matthews, 29, both of Batavia, NY were arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 4th degree.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Officers with the Batavia Police NET unit conducted a traffic stop on Ellicott Avenue and during the investigation, officers searched the vehicle and located over four grams of crack cocaine. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Canterbury was additionally charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle 3rd degree. Both were arraigned in CAP Court and are due in Batavia City Court at a later date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 7\/10\/2024, Kevin L. Henley, 32, of Cheektowaga, NY, was arrested and charged with Criminal Trespass 2nd degree. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s alleged that Henley entered a residence without permission from the owner. He was issued an appearance ticket and is due in Batavia City Court on 8\/6\/2024. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 7\/10\/2024, Thomas J. Mitchell, 34, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Petit Larceny. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s alleged that Mitchell stole a set of car tires and used them on his own vehicle. Mitchell was issued an appearance ticket and released. He is due in court on 7\/30\/2024. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 7\/7\/2024, Christopher M. Phillips, 27, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Menacing 2nd degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th degree. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s alleged that Phillips threatened another person with a knife during an altercation on Bank Street. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Phillips was issued an appearance ticket and is due in court, on 7\/30\/2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 7\/7\/2024, Carlina T. Newton, 29, of Buffalo, NY, was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree and Harassment 2nd degree. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Police initially responded to a report of Newton wandering in traffic on West Main Street. She was taken into custody and transported to the hospital. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

While being detained, Newton was found to be in possession of crack cocaine. It\u2019s also alleged that Newton bit a Police Officer. She was issued an appearance ticket and released. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 7\/8\/2024, Jennifer L. Tucker, 48, of Batavia, NY, was arrested on an arrest warrant. The warrant stems from a traffic stop in March where Tucker was issued a misdemeanor traffic ticket. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The warrant was issued when she failed to appear in court. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tucker was arraigned in CAP Court and released on her own recognizance. She is due in Batavia City Court at a later date. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 7\/7\/2024, Lamar I. Randall, 38, of Batavia, NY, was arrested on an arrest warrant. The warrant stems from a traffic stop in December of 2023, where Randall was issued misdemeanor traffic tickets. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The warrant was issued when he failed to appear in court. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Randall was arraigned in CAP Court and released. He is due in Batavia City Court at a later date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 7\/15\/2024, Penny S. Hofert, 58, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 3rd degree and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd degree.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hofert was arrested after an investigation into alleged drug sales in the City of Batavia. She was arraigned in CAP Court and is due in Batavia City Court at a later date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 7\/15\/2024, David J. Vega, 59, of Rochester, NY, was arrested on two warrants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first warrant stems from a traffic stop, where Vega was issued a misdemeanor traffic ticket, but failed to appear in court. The other warrant was issued after Vega failed to appear in court on a robbery charge, from 2019. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He was arraigned and remanded to the Genesee County Jail. <\/p>\n\n\n

On 7\/8\/2024, Lorendia S. Templeton, 29, of Farmington, NY, was arrested and charged with Attempted Assault 1st degree, Menacing 2nd degree, and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th degree.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s alleged that Templeton struck another person with a baseball bat during an altercation on Elm Street on 7\/7\/2024. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Templeton was arraigned in CAP Court and is due in Batavia City Court at a later date. <\/p>\n\n\n

On 7\/18\/2024, Michael J. Miller, 46, of Batavia, NY, was arrested on two warrants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The warrants stem from two separate incidents where Miller failed to register a change of address as a sex offender. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He was arraigned in Batavia City Court and remanded to the Genesee County Jail. He is due back in court, on 8\/1\/2024. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 7\/16\/2024, Cindy I. Bush, 62, of Batavia, NY was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The arrest stems from an incident on 10\/26\/2023, when Bush was allegedly found in possession of cocaine and fentanyl. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

She was issued an appearance ticket and is due in Batavia City Court on 7\/30\/2024. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 7\/14\/2024, Laquita O. Jackson-Thomas, 41, of Rochester, NY, was arrested on a warrant. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The warrant was issued after Jackson-Thomas failed to appear in court after being issued a misdemeanor traffic ticket. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

She was arraigned in Batavia City Court and is due back in court at a later date. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 7\/11\/2024, Jon H. Bush, 64, of Batavia, NY was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The arrest stems from an incident on 10\/26\/2023, when Bush was allegedly found to be in possession of cocaine. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He was issued an appearance ticket and is due in Batavia City Court on 7\/23\/2024. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 7\/16\/2024, Michael C. Smith, 32, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Petit Larceny. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s alleged that Smith stole a wagon from TF Brown\u2019s. He was issued an appearance ticket and is due in court on 7\/30\/2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 7\/16\/2024, Dontre R. Woods, 34, of Batavia, NY was arrested on a warrant. It\u2019s alleged that Woods failed to appear in court, after being issued a misdemeanor traffic ticket in February. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He was arraigned in CAP Court and released. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 7\/13\/2024, Christine A. Draper, 53, of Bethany, NY, was arrested and charged with Harassment 2nd degree. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Draper allegedly punched another person in the face during an altercation at Batavia Downs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

She was issued an appearance ticket and is due in Batavia City Court on 7\/23\/2024. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 7\/4\/2024, Krystle D. Sanders, Dajuandrick C. Gardner, and Ashley M. Davis were all arrested and charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s alleged that all three watched and encouraged two juveniles to engage in a physical fight on State Street on 6\/6\/2024. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

They were each issued an appearance ticket and are due in court on 7\/16\/2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 7\/8\/2024, Ryan A. Decillis, 32, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Harassment 2nd degree. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Decillis allegedly shoved another person during an altercation at an address on Ross Street. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He was arraigned in Batavia City Court and released.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 7\/14\/2024, Samuel J. Hernandez, 22, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Petit Larceny. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s alleged that Hernandez stole the tip jar from Blondies Sip-N-Dip. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He was issued an appearance ticket and is due in Batavia City Court on 7\/23\/2024. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 7\/4\/2024, Courtney B. Kacur, 21, of LeRoy, NY, was arrested and charged with DWI. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kacur was arrested after she was allegedly found asleep at the wheel at McDonald\u2019s on East Main Street. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

She was issued an appearance ticket and is due in court on 7\/16\/2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
