Edward D. Grant III, 28, of Rochester, NY, is charged with reckless endangerment 1st degree, unlawful fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle 3rd degree, aggravated unlicensed operation 2nd degree, reckless driving, speed exceeding 55mph, and many other Vehicle and Traffic Law violations, after fleeing from a traffic stop on Rt. 33 in Stafford on July 25, 2024 at 4:24p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Grant led police on a high-speed pursuit from the Town of Stafford through the Town of Batavia and City of Batavia and then on to the NYS Thruway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Grant was taken into custody on the NYS Thruway after his vehicle became disabled due to a spike strip deployment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
