The Orleans County Sheriff’s Office is on the scene of a motor vehicle accident involving a tractor trailer on Rt. 98 in the town of Barre, near the Genesee County line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The tractor trailer was loaded with cabbage and traveling southbound on Rt. 98. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Sheriff Christopher Bourke, the drive reported the load shifted and the trailer swayed off the roadway, striking a guardrail. The impact made the trailer’s axel become detached from the trailer.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The driver was transported to the hospital with a head injury. His injuries are not life threatening according to Sheriff Bourke<\/p>\n\n\n
