Chief Michael J. Grover reports the arrest of a Perry Resident on multiple charges following a DWI investigation by the Perry Police Department, stemming from a motorcycle accident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On September 21st, 2024, at approximately 12:13 a.m., Officer Cross and Officer Fronckowiak were dispatched to Walker Road for the report of a single vehicle motorcycle accident. Upon arrival, the driver, 32-year-old Cory M. Dahl, admitted to being intoxicated. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dahl consented to a blood draw and was transported to the hospital due to his injuries. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
On September 22nd, 2024, at about 11:00 p.m., Dahl was arrested and processed at the Perry Police Department on the following charges:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Vehicle and Traffic Law- 1192-3 DWI-Common law<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Vehicle and Traffic Law- 511-1(a) Aggravated unlicensed operator 3rd<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Vehicle and Traffic Law- 509-1 Unlicensed Operator<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Vehicle and Traffic Law- 509-2 Operating Out of Class<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Vehicle and Traffic Law- 319-1(u) Operating Without Insurance<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Vehicle and Traffic Law- 1180(a) Speed not Reasonable and Prudent<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Vehicle and Traffic Law- 1120(a) Failed to Keep Right<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He was released on his own recognizance. Dahl is to appear in the Perry Village Court on October 8th, 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
