On September 24, 2024, at approximately 10:40a.m., Deputy Hadsall was advised by Genesee County Dispatch that a vehicle had fled from an Erie County Sheriff’s Deputy after a theft of clothing items from TJ Maxx.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Deputy Hadsall observed the vehicle traveling east on Rt. 20 in Darien and attempted to stop the vehicle which failed to yield to emergency lights. After a pursuit, the vehicle crashed in the front lawn of a
residence in the Town of Byron on Rt. 237. The occupants then fled from the vehicle but two were later found in a corn field by a Genesee County K9. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The operator of the vehicle, Sugeiry Vazquez, 36, of Otis Street, Rochester, NY, was arrested
and taken to the Genesee County Jail for processing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vazquez is charged with unlawful fleeing a police officer on a motor vehicle, reckless endangerment 1st degree, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, operation of a motor vehicle\/unlicensed driver and a speed violation\/exceeding 55 mph.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vazquez was held for Genesee County CAP court on September 24, 2024 at approximately 7:00p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
