Grand opening of fruit and vegetable processing plant in Medina<\/p>\n

Pride Pak cut the ribbon on its new state of the art $30 million dollar facility in Medina Wednesday afternoon.<\/p>\n

\n

The 68,000 square foot facility is on 13 acres in the Medina Business Park on Rt. 31A across from the Genesee Community College building.<\/p>\n

Pride Pak is the largest fresh fruit and vegtable processor at its Canada based facility.<\/p>\n

With a new location in Medina, the company will be able to meet the demand of locally grown food in the United States by partnering with local farms and maintaining a business relationship with Wegmans .<\/p>\n

Pride Pak will eventually employ about 200 people.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
